Design issues for custom imprinted swim caps
The printing area for the cap's design is one-half inch (13mm) inside the border of the cap, so large designs may have to be reduced in size to fit within the printing area.

If your team wants black caps with red, yellow or orange ink, the design requires a base of white ink under the red, yellow or orange ink so that the red, yellow or orange ink is visible and red, yellow or orange.  This means the cap has at least two colors (the white and the red, yellow or orange, plus possibly additional colors) and the price includes the white ink as a separate color, even if the white will not be seen in the end product.

If you want the design to appear to be facing the same direction (forward or backward) on both sides of the cap, then we need to prepare two mirror image screens.  Therefore, the price for such a cap will include 2 screens.  A popular example of this type of design is a cap with ram horns that both circle from front to back on either side.
